Frequently asked questions
How many PDFs can be merged at once?
There is no limit imposed by the tool. The constraint is your device memory, and it is generous — dozens of ordinary documents are no problem on a normal laptop.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied from one document into another without being redrawn, so text stays selectable, images are not re-compressed and the result is identical to the inputs.
Can I control the order of the files?
Yes. The chosen files appear in a numbered list and each one can be moved up or down before the merge starts. Pages are combined in exactly the order shown.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. The merge runs inside your browser. No copy of any file is transmitted, stored or seen by anyone else, which is what makes this safe for contracts and other confidential paperwork.
Do bookmarks and form fields survive?
Page content, links within a page and images are carried across intact. Document-level structures — the bookmark outline, form field data and digital signatures — are not, because they belong to the original document rather than to its pages.
